the first one is completely true and i can attest it

it only takes a spoonful of crystal sugar to make a serving

1kg of crystal sugar is quite cheap

so, it’s REALLY cheap to make cotton candy, if you ignore the high energy costs and the huge work it takes to make one

Do we actually consume the jelly beans though? Or just buy them cause its an Easter staple and then they get left in the basket and then tossed out to make room for the new ones every year?

Srsly, I eat the black ones and the rest get tossed. No one I know eats them!

I eat jellybeans all the time, not even just at easter. I adore Jelly Bellies they are my favorites :| 

I was not aware that jellybeans get eaten over Easter. We do no such thing. You people are weird.

This post was interesting, yes. But the comments about jelly beans have made me almost lose my sanity.

HOW CAN YOU JUST THROW AWAY A JELLY BEAN? Unless its a grape one, then certainly, throw that shit away or feed it to a willing animal nearby.

BUT OMG PEOPLE. I CRAVE EASTER FOR THE JELLY BEANS. In fact, once they start going on the shevles, I remind my family that it is Jelly Bean season, they are ripe for the picking, and I expect some in the house IMMEDIATELY. And bitches, you better not be cheap or else. It is a sin, or should be, to get cheap ass Jelly Beans.

If a Jelly bean tree existed, I would own it.

The camel thing made me lose my appetite for like the next seven years. Gross.
